Driving sales is about coming to prospects with a compelling value proposition and overcoming objections. But it also is about “intelligent suspecting.”

Whether through its GeoQuote real-time quoting system or other value adds, master agent Telarus  is in the business of helping its partners drive sales.


To that end, Telarus has released a five-part video series on how to double sales volume.

One key technique to boost sales volume: intelligent suspecting.

Intelligent suspecting is thinking about and developing a plan to identify more potential prospects. The process consists of sharing ideas and talking about the value of the services, and the outcome is, of course, better prospects and more sales.

The first step is mining existing relationships for more prospects.

For new reps, leadership should supply the names of existing customers that can be leveraged for new contacts, according to the video. For seasoned agents, it is important to mine existing customers for new business. Read More
