According to a recent report from Infonetics Research, enterprise session border controllers (eSBC) are expected to grow significantly over the next few years. From 2012 to 2017, the market is expected to grow 17 percent annually. Cisco, which was the market leader a year ago, remains the market leader in 2013.

Millicorp, a provider of communication products, services and applications, recently announced that Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has rejected the petition filed by Securus Technologies, Inc. to permit Securus and other ICS providers to block inmate calls to customers of Millicorp's ConsCallHome.com service.



Hosted PBX services are replacing traditional phone systems in organizations. The most advantageous feature of hosted PBX is that it frees up office space and saves businesses from unnecessary equipment and maintenance costs.



Momentum Telecom, a provider of cloud-based communications, recently announced that it will begin using One Series multi-service router and gateway solutions from OneAccess Networks to deliver managed services to SMB and enterprise customers. Momentum will combine the solutions from OneAccess Networks with OneProvisio, a TR-069 standards-based auto configuration server, for operational cost savings for both on-net and off-net customers.
