It's not "magic" because it's a skill that anyone can learn and use.
The biggest obstacle people have is their misconception about what it is.
Hypnosis is an easy to understand way to affect thoughts, feelings and behaviors in others. For that reason, people think of it as "magical" or "mystical".
It's not.
I will admit it is a skill that demands some practice but anyone can learn hypnosis.
Anyone can learn:
 How to induce hypnosis in less than 30 seconds.
How to remove phobias.
How to turn someone into a non-smoker.
How to make someone hallucinate something no one else can see.
The list goes on because what the mind can do under hypnosis it amazing ... and useful!
