Greetings!
We're so glad you joined us for this issue of The Care Package Project News! Happy
holiday season to our Marine Parents family!
It's barely December, but we are already getting ready for our next pack day on
January 25, and we begin this issue with some important pack day and registration
information, followed by hotel information for anyone interested in coming to pack
day and staying overnight near our facilities.
If you have a friend or family member deployed to a combat zone, you can request
we send them a care package. It's free, easy to request, and open to all branches
of the military.
For those who wish to contribute to our pack day, but are unable to make it in person,
we discuss how to sponsor a care package from your home.
Thank you for joining us for this issue and for your continued support of our brave
men and women in uniform.

Important Pack Day Update
January Pack Day Date Change
For those of you who read The Care Package Project News on a regular basis, you
probably noticed that a few months ago we began listing the dates for our 2014 pack
days. Initially, we planned on having our January pack day on the 18th of the month
but, due to a scheduling conflict, our next pack day is now scheduled for January
25, 2014. Please mark this change on your calendars and we hope to see you there!

Registration Just Weeks Away
Even though our January 25, 2014 pack day is well over a month away, the volunteer
registration window will be opening in a few short weeks. As of now, we are planning
on beginning the registration period on January 3 and will provide the necessary
updates if that changes. Additionally, you can stay up to date on registration

If you have a loved one deployed overseas, then this is for you. If you are the
family member or friend of a combat deployed serviceman/woman, you can request
a package to be sent to your loved one. There is no charge; this is a FREE service
for deployed service members and their families.
