Good morning Andrew,
Metals moved sideways and mixed in overnight trading as German economic data impproved, Eurozone inflation eased, and Janet Yellen received Senate confirmation to be the new head of the Federal Reserve Bank.....Mixed news, mixed results.......Silver is $20.10 down 8 cents......Gold is up $1.00 to $1240.00.....Palladium is $742.00 up $2.00 per ounce.....Platinum is changing hands at $1417.00 off $6.00.....
The Euro is marginally higher on the news.....Last trade $1.3637 up 4/100ths of a U.S. cent....,Crude Oil is up 48 cents to $93.91 per barrel.......
Looking at the global stock markets, Asia closed mixed and little changed.....European indexes are higher across the board on a combination of weaker inflation and some better German data......Meanwhile, stocks in a frigid New York are expected to open higher by 58 Dow points.....
In case you went to bed early; Quarterback Jameis Winston threw a touchdown with just seconds to play to lead Florida State to a 34-31 win in the BCS Championship game in Pasadena, California......That's it.....
