How To Tell If An ETF Is Headed North Or South

Dear Dynamic Wealth Report Reader,

Incredibly, you can tell if an ETF is headed north or south by studying, of all things, magazine covers.

Here's the theory behind the magazine cover indicator:

By the time a company's success or failure reaches the cover page of a major publication, the company is so well known that it is already reflected in the stock price.

In other words, once all the good news is out, the stock is ready to take a dive.

If the cover story is negative, it's time to buy again.

This theory holds true AFTER the cover story appears.  That is, the cover story acts as a contrarian indicator.

A negative cover story is likely to signal positive gains.  A positive story is likely to signal a coming downtrend.

Put another way, positive cover stories indicate a stock's price performance has topped out.  Negative cover stories come right at the time of a coming turnaround.

The above applies to ETFs as well as individual stocks.

Bottom line, be a contrarian and bet against magazine covers.

There's a lot of money at stake when you invest in ETFs.
