Unlikely Match-Ups: Arthas Menethil vs. Ganondorf We've got two more evil conquerors stepping up to the plate today on Unlikely Match-Up, and once more, we're letting you tell us who is the lesser and the greater of these two evils. Arthas Menethil, as the Lich-King, is a powerful foe, enchased in heavy armor and wielding a wicked weapon. Even before he became the Lich-King, Arthas was a powerful foe...and the Rune-blade, Frostmourne, only made him stronger, as the weapon surges with immense magic fueled by the countless souls that are trapped within. His foe, though, is no stranger to power. Ganondorf is a hero story in villain form: once a lone bandit, then a bandit-king, a conquering warlord, and finally, wielder of the Triforce of Power. He's a sorcerer of unparalleled might, as well as a warrior of immense skill...and all of this is likely before you factor in the little golden triangle on his hand, which is feeding him with energy and magic enough to make him the greatest foe that many heroes have ever faced down. Ganondorf is also capable of transformation, becoming something greater and more monstrous when near death, which adds another factor to the fight. There's no hero in this fight. Just a grudge-match of brutal proportions, as two evil kings beat down on each other, until one simply fails to rise... But which one will fall to the ground and stay there? Vote Now
