Invest Like a Venture Capitalist

Dear Reader,

I've always hated the advice "buy low."

Not because it's not true. It's just very hard to do. Prices are low during crashes... when the news goes from bad to worse... or when stocks seriously disappoint.

You need nerves of steel to buy under those circumstances.

I've found an easier way to buy low.

The problem is only a very small group of investors were allowed to invest in these private deals. So I had to keep this to myself until things changed.

And now they have.

The government is about to open up these investments to everybody. So finally, I'm free to tell you what this is about.

It's the best thing to happen to investors in decades. I'm talking about the opportunity to invest in tiny companies just starting out.

Very soon - in a matter of months - these startup companies will be allowed to sell their shares to everybody, regardless of how much they make. And they'll cost a fraction of what you'd pay for them if they were public companies or if they had just IPO'd.

Until recently, only venture capital firms and "angel" investors were allowed to take out equity stakes in these companies.

Still, investing in companies with very little track record can be tricky. You have to know what you're doing.

That's why The Oxford Club recently began sending out a free educational newsletter on early investing. It talks about how to build a diverse portfolio of startup companies. How the various crowdfunding sites work. And the things you need to know about the hottest technologies and markets.

To learn how it all works, click here to automatically sign up for our free twice weekly e-letter, Early Investing, and make sure you're among the first to know when this brand-new market goes live later this year...

Sincerely,

Andrew Gordon
Investment Director, Early Investing
