Unlikely Match-Ups: Echidna vs. Angrboda It's a battle between mothers this week, and with mother's day coming this weekend, it's perfectly timed! And boy do we have one for you! Echidna is a sinister figure from Greek mythos - the mother of all monsters who birthed such horrors as Cerberus, the Hydra, the Chimera, the Gorgons, and more! She is a half-woman and half-snake, and likely every bit as terrible, if not more so, than her children! Her foe is not quite so terrible to behold, though: AngrboĆ°a is a giantess of Jotunheim, empowered with all the destructive strength that a giant might have. She was also a shapeshifter, and by some accounts, even a sorceress. By Loki, this she-giant is the mother of three terrifying figures: Fenrir, Jormungandr, and Hel - respectively, these are two god-beasts and the keeper of Hell in Norse mythology! These are two mothers with terrible children, and today, we aim to put them together in a battle to prove just who the best mother of monsters really is! Vote Now
