Smaug vs. Alduin: An Unlikely Match-Up, by Medieval Collectibles

Unlikely Match-Ups: Smaug vs. Alduin

A double-dose of dragon-kind is headed your way in this Unlikely Match-Up! If not for their abrasive personalities, these two dragons might be friends. But they're not, so let us commence the fighting! Smaug is an absolute beast of a dragon - he's big, he's hard to kill, and his fire-breath is strong enough to turn flesh to ash. In his own words: "My armour is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail is a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my breath death!" Alduin, though, is not some meager foe to face. First son of Akatosh, the dragon-god in the Elder Scrolls Universe, Alduin is known as the "world-eater", and it is his appearance that heralds the end of all things. He is a master of the Voice, capable of creating impressive magical feats by merely speaking aloud. He may not be as big as Smaug, but he is certainly capable of just as much destruction. Indeed, it takes men of special quality to kill either of these legendary beasts. But today, no men of quality can be found. Instead, they have only each other. So tell us...which dragon wins this day? Vote Now
