Lewis -- President Obama is the reason I'm a progressive organizer. The idea that individuals have the power to change their communities -- and the world -- still inspires me. I know I'm not alone on this -- that's why OFA is working on a grassroots gesture for President Obama's birthday on Monday. Choose the birthday card with the message you want to send the President -- and sign your name now. Birthday cards aren't going to get the House to knock off the nonsense and get to work. But they're a simple way of saying thanks to a president who is fighting every day for the kind of change you and I care so much about.
