Twitter touted its plan for user growth at an event Wednesday, saying that 500 million people use the service each month without logging in and that 125 million visit the home page each month without signing up. The company will focus on creating features to entice those visitors to sign up, such as a simplified sign-up and an "instant timeline" of content.
