Here are 3 things we learned in the week since we published these trends: The trend seen as the biggest opportunity? POST-DEMOGRAPHIC CONSUMERISM, with an average rating of 4.01 out of 5. Next up? The INTERNET OF SHARING THINGS, with an average rating of 3.97. The trend that was seen as offering the least opportunities? ROBOLOVE, with an average rating of 2.97. Although Asian audiences rated ROBOLOVE’s opportunities at 3.92 (perhaps unsurprisingly given that Japan is the largest market for robots). Let’s see if witnessing robots in action during 2015 wins people in the rest of the world over? Also, emerging market readers were more optimistic than those in mature markets, with Asian (3.88), South & Central American (3.82) and African (3.78) readers rating higher on average than European (3.73), Australasian (3.61) and North American (3.53) audiences.
