SIP trunking has crossed the chasm, becoming a mainstream application that's now in high demand. We're seeing this at Ingate where inquiries about SIP trunking translate to sales, quickly, and existing customers are reordering SIP trunking solutions in higher volume. Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), a British national charity providing training, support, care and employment services to veterans of the Armed Forces, is deploying a hosted telephony service provided by business communications specialist Olive Communications. The new service will connect RBLI's six offices and more than 300 employees, enabling closer relationships among members of the organization and the people it serves.

Many organizations prefer DECT phones, he adds, because of their long-lasting battery life and lower cost relative to cellular and Wi-Fi solutions.
