Good morning and happy holidays Andrew
The pre holiday wind down seems to be starting with prices little changed while volume is waning as we approach the end of 2014......Across the Atlantic the price of Silver is up 4 cents at $16.11......Gold is unchanged at $1197.00.....Palladium sits at $810.00 per ounce, up $2.00.....Platinum is also $2.00 higher and changing hands at $1201.00
Traders in all markets are in the process of flattening and closing investment exposures for year end accounting purposes, or simply to enjoy the holidays without worries and stress.....
The Euro is limping along at $1.2261 up 35/100ths of a cent against the Greenback......Crude oil is 50 cents higher at $57.63 in what can only be described as one hell of year price wise.........
In stock market activity; Asia closed from steady in Japan to up 1.57% in Singapore........Europe is currently up 0.5% to up 0.9%.......In New York the Dow is being called to open 80 points higher, adding on last Friday's gain of 27......
The U.S. economic calendar has only one data point on the schedule today......Existing Home Sales for November are estimated to be 5.2 million versus 5.26 million.....It will be blamed on the holidays.......That's it.....Call for strategies....
