The Stop Program Monday's  Number 345 January 6th, 2015 Things That Matter  by Dr. Jennifer Baker The Courage to be Ordinary   Ordinary - that's the title of a new book by Michael Horton about "sustainable faith in a radical, restless world." Horton speaks primarily of spiritual matters, but I think what he says applies to so much of our everyday lives-work, leisure, relationships.  After all, who wants to work at an ordinary job, go on an ordinary vacation, or have an ordinary relationship?      Click here to read more of Dr. Baker's blog,  "Things That Matter" Upcoming Workshops The Stop Program | Monday's  This program is open-ended treatment for male domestic violence offenders. Each session is 2-hours with a 10 minute break. All group sessions begin with a review of homework from the previous session, a brief mindfulness and gratitude ritual, followed by, a review of the Weekly Check-In.  Participants use The Stop Program handouts and homework, which includes forms and exercises, homework assignments and additional materials for on-going support. *Participants may enter the program anytime during the twenty-six week period.   Click here for details and registration!  Friends of Operation Us, is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the efforts of Operation Us.
