All QPrESTs contain a proprietary Quantification Tag sequence that is used to achieve accurate and precise determination of QPrEST concentration. The QPrEST is added to the protein sample prior to trypsin digestion, allowing for a better workflow with results minimally affected by losses during sample preparation. As all QPrEST products are designed to contain multiple unique tryptic peptides, one QPrEST standard can generate more quantitative data than a corresponding peptide standard, increasing the reliability of your results.
