So register early and save! |  | Dear Run for the Wild Participant, Please join us for the 7th annual WCS Run for the Wild at the Bronx Zoo, on Saturday, April 25th, presented by Con Edison. This year's run will help support the Wildlife Conservation Society's efforts to save gorillas. When you sign up by February 4th to help us make tracks for gorillas, you can take advantage of the Early Bird Special and receive $5 off your registration fee. (Note to Members: your registration fee is always discounted.) As with each WCS Run for the Wild, this family-oriented event is open to runners and walkers alike. Registration includes: - Free all-day access to the Bronx Zoo for all participants
- Live entertainment, refreshments and give-aways
- Staggered starts for runners and walkers/families
- Free t-shirt for registered children
- A host of great prizes for fundraisers of all levels, including a t-shirt, a soft plush gorilla, water bottle, blanket, beach towel, and fleece!
Best of all, your efforts will directly benefit gorillas and other threatened wildlife around the globe and at the Bronx Zoo. Did you know that gorillas are struggling for their very survival? These powerfully intelligent, peaceful, and gentle creatures, are threatened by logging, mining, and poaching, and are dying off in incredible numbers. But together we can stop it.
