To many, Lady Lamb (aka Aly Spaltro) is an enigma. Her songs are at once intimate and unbridled - both deeply personal and existentially contemplative. Spaltro is a fearless performer who can command a pitch-black stage with nothing more than her voice, yet when the band bursts in and the lights come up, what began as a demonstration of restraint shifts seamlessly into an emphatic snarl. To celebrate the upcoming release of her new album After (out March 3rd), and the announcement of her huge spring US tour, Lady Lamb has teamed up with NoiseTrade to bring you the first track from her new album "Billions of Eyes" along with "The Nothing Part II" and "Bird Balloons", two stand-out tracks from Aly's 2013 release Ripely Pine, captured at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. After releasing her third solo album, FEED YOUR SOUL, in 2013, Christa Wells, known for her uniquely incisive lyrical abilities, looked for a project that would stretch her artistic voice. The Covers EP, produced by Nashville's esteemed Ben Shive, is a dark and rich reimagining of five beloved alternative songs from the late 80s-90s. Featuring tunes from Smashing Pumpkins, U2, The Smiths, Depeche Mode & Nirvana, the project debuts as a full album download here on NoiseTrade during the week of its release. "Not Home Anymore" is a new collaboration from Lera Lynn and Ben Arthur. ​The two met, wrote, and recorded the song all in one day during a road trip from Nashville to Memphis. The song was tracked and recorded live at the historical Sun Studio, and it's the first song from Acoustic Cafe and SongCraft Presents' Songs of the Road project.
