On February 26, 2015, The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to regulate broadband Internet services as a public utility as a way of regulating high-speed Internet services. The new rules, which were approved through a 3 to 2 vote, are intended to ensure that no content is blocked and that the Internet does not become a highway with pay-to-play fast lanes for Internet and media companies that can afford it and slow lanes for everyone else. In essence, this is the concept of net neutrality.
Advertising has certainly become far more complex and integrated since the age of the Internet and social media. Businesses have options today that were a mere dream way back when, but with all of these options, it's imperative to plan, execute, and find where your presence is going to offer the most return on your investment. We know that we're living in a mobile, digital era, so why aren't you in the app marketplace?
Once your business has decided to go with hosted VoIP, it would be easy to think your work is done. After all, you no longer have to worry about keeping the resources to manage the service in-house, as VoIP can be run almost entirely in the cloud. While this makes life easier for IT, employees will continue using desk phones for telephony, and there are important decisions to be made here along with your choice of hosted VoIP provider.
VoIP has had its fair share of the market in communications for some time, and now the voice communications technology is expected to get a boost from Voice over LTE.
