Swan Song for the U.S. Dollar?

Investment U
Sunday, April 12, 2015
Dear Investment U Reader,

Have you heard predictions for the "demise of the dollar" in the past?

I certainly have.

Plenty of them. Yet I never put much stock in the Chicken Little-type fearmongering.

But guess what?

If you've been skeptical like me, it may be time to rethink our positions.

Just consider...
  • Never before have our close allies, including Australia, France and Great Britain, shown a preference to bank with China rather than America. Yet they're lining up to do so now.

  • Never before has a major U.S. bank gone so far to say, "The U.S. dollar is in trouble." But that's exactly what a leading Bank of America analyst recently announced.

  • And never before has a former U.S. Treasury secretary so boldly bashed our own dollar, proclaiming, "This may be remembered as the moment the U.S. lost its role as the underwriter of the global economic system." Yet that was Lawrence Summers' brazen warning just days ago.
So the question becomes...

Is the world really prepared to say goodbye to the dollar?

After all the "sky is falling" alarms, is our greenback finally about to make its swan song?

If you've been skeptical about previous "demise of the dollar" reports, I urge you to click here for the full story, so you can decide for yourself.

P.S. If you hold stocks, bonds or even Treasurys now... you're going to want to prepare yourself for what's to come.
