Yesterday, I was showing my friend a new blues arrangement that I learned and he asked me "Claude, how do you find the time and energy to practice guitar with all the stuff you got goin on?"

So I'll tell you what I told him.

First, you have to make it a priority. There's always enough time to do anything in your life (but not everything). Maybe it means you only go twice a week to your ballet class :~

Second, try to structure your day so you can play when you have the most physical energy. I find guitar playing takes a surprising amount of energy.

The times when you'll typically have the most energy are either early in the day, or after a meal. I find having a meal and then maybe some tea or coffee immediately after, gives me a nice dose of energy where I can have a good guitar session.

So that's my words of gisdom (I just made that word up just now lol.... gisdom= guitar wisdom) hehe

Let's move onto some actual guitar lesson.
