Somewhat Unlikely Match-Up: Ant-Man vs. Spider-Man The newest addition to the MCU goes up against one of Marvel's most beloved heroes! Ant-Man is the superhero alias of Scott Lang, a savvy systems engineer and thief. On his own, Lang has no super powers, but the Ant-Man suit grants him super strength... as long as he's small. The suit also allows him to communicate with insects. Lang isn't undeserving of the mantle of a superhero, however - his expertise with technology, computer programming, and electrical engineering enable him to bypass highly secure systems, and his size allows him to go largely unnoticed by people. His powers may be small, but they allow him to accomplish world-altering events. Spider-Man, too, is a highly intelligent scientist, especially in the realms of chemistry, physics, and engineering. Peter Parker created his own mechanical web-shooters which allow him to fly around the city at great speed, but his super strength, ability to cling to walls, and "spider-sense" are traits he gained through a radioactive spider bite. While Spider-Man could probably overpower Ant-Man in a heartbeat, will his spider-sense allow him to find Lang, or will Parker be wildly looking around for an invisible threat? Is Lang sneaky and smart enough to disable Parker's web shooters or instruct insects to attack, or will Spider-Man be able to dodge these onslaughts before they can begin? Will Lang's age and experience help him to outwit Parker, or will Parker's youth and ingenuity put them on an even playing field? This battle could go any number of ways, but who do you think would win if they were to fight? Vote Now Do you have an idea for an Unlikely Match-Up you would like to see?
