| Some Like It Hot Club Plays Bobolink Sunday, Aug.23!
Step back in time to Paris in the 1920's, and Gypsy Jazz would be the soundtrack in the cafes and nightclubs. The dominant artist of this delightful and upbeat genre was Django Reinehardt. His music is as relevent and uplifting as it was when it first hit the airwaves so long ago, and Bobolink is delighted to present Some Like It Hot Club to play selections from this great legacy!
The tent is ready, the grill is heating up to cook for you, so all you need to bring is a readiness to relax, enjoy, and dance if the moment inspires you as we know it will!

OK, it's time to admit this...Nina has a huge sweet tooth! So here's a little more information about our sweet treats, lovingly design to be richly flavored and satisfying. The offerings include our amazing Apple Biscuits, which are made with a mixture of Red Fife heirloom whole wheat flour, NY State pastry flour, grass-fed butter, local tangy apples, and just the right amount of organic unrefined sugar. Perfect for breakfast, afternoon tea, or dessert with some Bobolink cheese or Bobolink Ice Cream (at the farm store only).
The Chocolate Chip Cookies are made with Jonathan's Butter, our own Free-range eggs, NY state grown pastry flour, and fair trade chocolate mini-chips.
We are making plenty, so come to the farm store and get your sweet delights...remember, we've got eggs, milk, cream, and butter, plus Ajiri coffee and tea, so you won't have to stop at the supermarket, too.

The spring cheeses are now ready in greater quantity, so we have them going to all markets. Each batch is a bit different, but they are tending toward the gooey but mild! We have a variety of Baudolino, Drumm, and Amram going to markets.
Drumm extra reserve is still available, too.
And this season's Frolic (made to our specifications at Wakefield Dairy) is ready, too!

| More pastured, suckled veal is in!
If you missed out on the chops and cutlets on the last harvest, now is the time to get over to the farm store, Lincoln Center, Dvoor, or Denville markets! We'll have the ground veal as well, which is great on the grill, or you can make Veal Milanese:
Grill or pan sear a 1/2" thick veal patty. Cover with seasonal greens, heirloom tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Serve with slices of Bobolink Ciabatta on the side. |
