Samsung Packs Exciting New Features into Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ at Unpacked 2015 - TechZone360

Unpacked may actually be the antithesis of what Samsung has done with each of its product unveilings of late. Rather, the mobile giant continues to pack more and more into its devices, typically resulting in a chorus of applause from the audience, as evidenced on multiple occasions at today's Unpacked 2015 at Lincoln Center in New York City.
While this may seem to be of shock to many, Google claims this as their Alpha-BET, as they have confidence in making what they have cleaner and more accountable and for having better structure in the future opportunities to come. As Alphabet soon takes over, what does this all mean to you? Here are the 1-2-3s!
The recent prison escape of drug lord Joaquin Guzman, better known as El Chapo, is a testament to the power of technology within criminal organizations. That Guzman was able to escape from maximum-security prisons on two separate occasions is amazing on its own, but when technology is factored into the equation the situation becomes clearer.
After years of recession-era realities hamstringing household budgets, spending on communications services has bounced back in the UK, rising for the first time in more than five years. The spending areas of choice? Broadband and pay TV. But a look at the numbers breakdown indicates a major cancer growing at the heart of the comms industry in that country.
When Sergey Brin and Larry Page first went public with Google 11 years ago (only 11 years ago!), they said at the time that the company would devote itself to moving beyond the search business, including making smaller bets in areas that might seem very speculative or even strange when compared to our current businesses.
These latest products from Corel are particularly good with difficult items to deal with realistically like hair, fire, fir, smoke and magic. Yes I said magic. With Painter as a standalone product or ParticleShop as a plug-in, you can now easily draw these elements - vastly enhancing and changing what your audience sees. Want to show longer hair, you just paint it without having to individually paint each hair, want to show a haunted scene or recreate something from Harry Potter but with your kid as the lead magician, you just add the magic with simple blush strokes.
Verizon Wireless is breaking with the business model pack, and in a rather astounding way: The carrier is eliminating the whole sign-a-two-year-contract-in-exchange-for-a-free-phone thing.
At the close of 2014, Gartner forecast that 4.9 billion connected things will be in use this year, up 30 percent from last year, and will reach 25 billion by 2020. The Internet of Things (IoT) has become an over-used buzz term, but it's also an undeniable reality, and as such, is making a disruptive impact across all industries, especially when it comes to cybersecurity.
Apple has been busy lately, positioning for breaking new ground on a couple of different fronts-and in one case, quite literally. The computing darling is testing out a next generation for visual voicemail that incorporates a voice-to-text functionality, could launch its own wireless service, and has made a mysterious land purchase. Could these things all be related?
The Windows 10 upgrade has prompted plenty of reaction from the computing community, with some eager to switch and others prepared to wait as long as possible before being forced to do so. But the waiting crowd has one more reason to hold up for its wait: a spike in ransomware incidents around the new software.
