Help Preserve the Grand Canyon's Watershed

Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.), working with local tribal nations, is introducing legislation into Congress that would permanently protect Grand Canyon's 1.7-million-acre watershed from toxic uranium mining and destructive old-growth logging -- a goal the Center has been working toward for decades. Unfortunately congressional gridlock is so bad that this much-needed legislation will likely never become law in time. That's why we're putting pressure on President Obama to designate this national monument -- but we can't do it without you.
