There is no way around it.  If you are looking for family-fun, then St. Louis has everything you and the crew need this fall.  From a soaring arch to haunted houses to world-class entertainment, we've got just what you need to make some life-long memories.

Here are just a handful of the events you won't want to miss.

Celebrating 50 Years of an Icon
One of the world's most iconic monuments, the Gateway Arch, is celebrating its golden anniversary in October.  To help celebrate, our region is holding an all-day Arch 50 Fest (Oct. 24) in Kiener Plaza.  Festivities will also take place at the historic Old Courthouse on Oct. 28, along with events at the Missouri History Museum with exhibits and a chance to meet the builders of this amazing landmark.

Boo!
Halloween fun abounds in St. Louis, with haunted and not-so haunted events, activities and attractions that are sure to be a hit with ghouls and goblins of all ages.  You'll want to be front and center, as Fright Fest takes over Six Flags St. Louis.  To check out all there is to do during the scary season, visit ExploreStLouis.com!

The Curtain Rises
We have the best in live entertainment, as the 2015-16 Broadway Series at the Fabulous Fox Theatre opens with Matilda (Oct. 21 - Nov. 1), the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.  Make plans now to see the smash-hit musical, Mamma Mia (Nov. 6 - 8), featuring some of the greatest songs from ABBA in this ultimate fell-good show!

Perfect Pitch
The road to the 2018 FIFA World Cup starts in St. Louis, as the U.S. Men's National Team takes on Saint Vincent & The Grenadines at Busch Stadium on Friday, Nov. 13. You won't want to miss this first-round qualifier and help cheer the USA onto victory.

Lights, Camera, Action!
You don't have to go to Cannes to find some of the world's greatest films.  The 24th Annual St. Louis International Film Festival (Nov. 5-15) features the work of more than 125 filmmakers at theatres across the St. Louis area.  The festival includes such high-profile films as The 33, Anomalisa, The Assassin, Brooklyn, Carol, I Saw the Light, Krisha, The Lady in the Van, Legend, Love the Coopers, Remember, Son of Saul, Touched with Fire, and Youth.

Holiday Cheer
Make plans now to ring in the holidays with the Ameren Missouri Festival of Lights at historic St. Louis Union Station on Saturday, Nov. 21. The event features seasonal entertainment, food and the lighting of the Salvation Army's Tree of Lights across the street in Aloe Plaza as Mayor Francis Slay will flip the switch to light the majestic tree, followed by a dramatic fireworks display.  On November 26, the streets of downtown St. Louis will once again welcome the 31st Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade with more than 130 parade units, including musical floats and displays, giant helium balloon figures, animal units, restored antique cars and firetrucks, and marching bands from around the St. Louis region.
