USO Supporter –
Throughout my 22-year career in the Marine Corps, and especially after losing my leg in combat, the USO was with me. They were there aiding in my recovery, providing a place to rest and sending comfort items. But, most importantly, the USO helped me get back to my unit in Iraq.
I am now home safe with my family, but my fellow warriors are still out there fighting and healing in military hospitals. This Veterans Day, we all pause to think about them and those who have transitioned to civilian life, but I need you to do more than that –
I need you to give back to them by donating to the 2015 USO Heroes Fund. The USO needs to raise $235,000 online by midnight on Veterans Day to reach their campaign goal and deliver for troops deployed around the world and the many heroes battling their way back.
Will you give today to make sure they get the same support I did? Make your tax-deductible gift of $10 or more to the 2015 USO Heroes Fund by midnight on Veterans Day to honor our wounded troops. The USO will send you an official certificate to recognize your generous support. For those serving, there’s nothing more important than trust. You’ve got to trust that the person in line next to you knows his or her job.
The military establishment trusts the USO. And the men and women overseas, well … take it from me:
They trust the USO.
But as a non-government agency, the USO counts on Americans like you to support our wounded troops. So if you want to honor our nation’s heroes – past and present – the best way to do it is by giving to the 2015 USO Heroes Fund today:
