So get to it and start deciding which animal you're going to run for.   Dear Run for the Wild Participant, Please join us for the 8th annual WCS Run for the Wild on Saturday, April 30 at the Bronx Zoo, presented by Con Edison. It's always a very special event. And this year, we've added a twist. While you'll still be supporting the Wildlife Conservation Society's efforts to save species around the world, you'll get to run on behalf the animal of your choice. So act fast! If you sign up by Monday, Feb. 15, you'll save $5 off your registration–a special discount to show you how much we want you there. As with each WCS Run for the Wild, the event is open to runners and walkers alike. Registration includes: • Free all-day access to the Bronx Zoo for all participants • Free parking • A commemorative WCS Run for the Wild t-shirt • A host of prizes for fundraising at all levels, including a cheetah plush, tote bag, cooling towel, and a VIP brunch • Staggered starts for runners and walkers/families Plus, we hope you'll stay for the day. When the race is over, there will be great entertainment, including music, face painting, post-run refreshments, and a silent disco on Astor Court. Best of all, your efforts will directly benefit threatened wildlife around the world and at the Bronx Zoo. It's greatly needed, too.
