Classic Chili

Classic Chili
Metric Ingredient Imperial
750 g ground beef 1 1/2 lb
300 ml onions, chopped 1 1/4 cup
625 ml red kidney beans 2 1/2 cup
625 ml ripe tomatoes, chopped & juice 2 1/2 cup
40 ml chili powder 3 tbsp
15 ml flour 1 tbsp
5 ml salt 1 tsp
In a large skillet; break up beef and cook until lightly browned. Remove to bowl.

In remaining fat; saute onion until soft. Put beef back in pan and add remaining ingredients.

Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes; stirring occasionally.

Serves 4
