Metric Ingredient Imperial 1 L green beans, cut 4 cup 175 ml celery, sliced 3/4 cup 50 ml onion, chopped 4 tbsp 30 ml butter or margarine 2 tbsp 15 ml flour 1 tbsp 150 ml milk 2/3 cup 750 ml corn niblets 3 cup

Cook beans under tender crisp. Saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, add milk and cook over low heat; stirring constantly until thickened. Add beans and corn to milk mixture. Heat through and serve. Serves 8
