| Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse presents Some Like It Hot Club Sunday, August 7, 2015, 1-4 pm Spend the afternoon on the lawn of the farmhouse, listening to gypsy jazz and enjoying great food.
Some Like It Hot Club is a Jazz band inspired by the works of Django Reinhardt and the sweet and hot sounds of France in the 1930's and 40's. Kick back and imagine yourself at a bistro on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, without a care in the world!
"Their performances are passionate" (New Jersey Jazz Society)
The farm store will be open for purchase of cheeses, breads, and burgers made with the farm's own pastured meats and produce from the garden. The show takes place from 1-4 on Sunday. There is no charge for the music, but reservations are requested, and burgers can be reserved in advance. Reserving your burger helps us with planning, but we will have plenty of food, so don't worry if you didn't reserve!
In addition to burgers,we will be serving cheese plates , buttermilk smoothies, homemade cole slaw, roasted corn, and cucumber salad. We will also have fresh peaches and Nina's cookies available. Everything we serve is made from our own products from the farm, or from farmers we know! There will be a tent with tables for limited seating, and lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. For folks with limited mobility, it is easy to park right next to the field for easy accessibility. There is sufficient tent space to hold the event rain or shine. The event is BYOB, children welcome, no dogs please.
