Free Press and Color Of Change are fighting for a fair and humanizing media landscape that serves everyone. People of color own only a fraction of our media, and there are few Black and Brown journalists and executives working at news organizations. Instead of being recognized for their success on their own merits, women Olympians were compared with men, saw their hard work credited to men, had their names omitted from stories, and were pigeonholed as wives and mothers.
