Turkey Casserole

Metric Ingredient Imperial 50 ml butter 1/4 cup 1 packaged stuffing mix for turkey 1 398 ml can cream of mushroom soup 14 oz 125 ml sour cream 1/2 cup 2 carrots, diced 2 284 g water chestnuts, drained & sliced 10 oz 500 ml turkey, cooked & diced 2 cup 2 green onions, sliced 2

Pour melted butter in 9 x 9 inch (23 cm x 23 cm) baking dish. Stir in contents of seasoning pouch of packaged stuffing. Mix in stuffing crumbs. Reserve 1 cup (250 ml) of mixture. Spread remaining crumbs evenly in bottom of dish. Blend soup and sour cream in a large bowl. Stir in carrots, water chestnuts, turkey and green onions. Spread over stuffing crumbs in dish. Sprinkle reserved stuffing over top. Cover and bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes. Serves 6
