Happy July Indiana Jones!
I hope and trust you've had a great start to this new month. Somehow the drama of this year make the start of each month feel like the start of a new year...like a full fresh start. At least that's how it felt for me.
Last week, our family managed to escape the Texas heat (and the coronavirus hot spot!) and we made it to my mom's house in northern Minnesota. We spent time (while socially distanced) with extended family in a quasi-family reunion over the holiday weekend. After these vicious past few months, we are so grateful for this time to rest and relax at the cabin and out on the lake.
We will continue to do our live cooking lessons with Whis-Kid from the cabin. Every Tuesday afternoon at 3 pm CST this summer, the boys and I will cook live together and I will teach them how to cook something, while teaching you/your kiddo at the same time. We have a great time and we promise you will learn important hacks and cooking skills.
Here is the list of upcoming Whis-Kid cooking lessons in July:
- July 7th - Potato Chip Chicken Strips
- July 14th - Homemade Macaroni and Cheese (this also happens to be National Mac n Cheese Day, so yay and yum!!)
- July 21st - Pizza Bagels
- July 28th - Homemade Sloppy Joes
I hope you'll join us on the $5 Dinners Facebook page. :)
If you'd like to order a Whis-Kid workbook for your kiddos (or yourself!), you can do that here. And use the coupon code WHISKID to save on your order!
