Indeed, the Black Lives Matter website supports efforts to “disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure,” “dismantle cisgender privilege,” and calls for a “national defunding of police.” Do you support the Black Lives Matter organization? Yes No   Do you support efforts to defund police departments in the Central Valley and across the country? Yes No   What do you believe defunding police departments would achieve? Defunding the police would lead to increased crime and not do anything to address social unrest. Partial defunding of police departments would free up taxpayer dollars to flow to communities.
