Spicy Black-Eyed Peas

Metric Ingredient Imperial 500 ml dried black-eyed peas, rinsed 2 cup 1 medium onion, chopped 1 175 ml salsa 1/4 cup

In a slow cooker; mix peas and onions with 6 cups (1.5 L) water.  Cover and cook on high heat for 3 to 4 hours or until peas are tender.  Stir in salsa.  Cover and cook on high for 10 minutes or until hot. Servings: 8
