That's right, the physically demanding and mentally strenuous race known as the Garland Guzzler 0.5K will be taking place this year! HOW? Well, good question! Since our race is traditionally comprised of some of the most competitive, physically chiseled specimen mankind has ever seen, we knew we would have to keep things competitive, and we are! Every participant has the option to have their time tracked via the real-time race tracking app (you will get email instructions on how to download the app). Runners will also have the option of picking a route and location of their choosing, or you can elect to run the virtual Downtown Garland route. To have your time recorded, runners must complete the race between 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27. AWARDS You will be ranked amongst your fellow "racers". There will even be some fun guzzler-style awards for the top finishers for age groups of 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55+. SWAG Now you might ask yourself, but what about the SWAG? Will it lag? Don't worry, we have you covered! Custom race-medals, race t-shirts, headbands, and more will be a part of this year's goodies, so the only thing likely to be lagging is your race time.
