Meaty Spaghetti

Metric Ingredient Imperial 250 g spaghetti , cooked according to package directions 1/2 lb 225 g beef tenderloin, sliced 8 oz 500 ml cherry tomatoes, halved 2 cup 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 1 bunch basil leaves 1 50 ml olive oil 1/4 cup 50 ml butter 1/4 cup - salt & pepper to taste -

Heat a large skillet.  Add olive oil.  Add beef and garlic.  Saute for a few minutes. Add tomatoes, butter and basil.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.  Continue to cook until liquid in pan is reduced. Toss with spaghetti and serve. Servings: 4
