Steam asparagus until just tender and bright green, about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain immediately and place in 13 x 9 inch (33 x 23 cm) baking dish. In a small bowl; place soy sauce and sugar. Whisk until sugar dissolves. Stir in ginger, sesame oil and hot sauce. Whisk in vegetable oil until vinaigrette thickens slightly. Pour vinaigrette over asparagus and toss gently to combine. Transfer to serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Servings: 8 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
