Hi, With the holiday season upon us and 2020 about to come to a much-needed end, we wanted to reach out to thank you for your continued support of Dallas Observer. You and people like you have been lifesavers for us during this unprecedented year. Like many of you, the challenges we've faced over the past few months have led us to do some soul-searching. Through that process, we've found ourselves reaffirming the commitments we've made to ourselves, to our city and, most of all, to our readers. We believe in free journalism. We want to provide our local reporting to everyone at no charge, regardless of financial status. We want to avoid pay walls or mandatory subscriptions. We believe in change. We were among the first alt-weeklies to commit to digital journalism, restructuring our workflow to publish stories web-first. That decision turned us into something we'd never been: a daily newsroom. We believe in growth. We remain as dedicated as ever to developing Dallas's best journalistic talent, and to learning how to keep growing at a time of great stress in the media business.  We believe in our readers.
