September & October 2021 STATS FOR STORIES (SFS) This week is the 10th anniversary of National Manufacturing Week. Wednesday is Coffee Day. Friday is Manufacturing Day. October has three awareness months: Disability Employment Awareness, Global Diversity Awareness, and Energy Awareness.   National Manufacturing Week: September 27-October 1 National Manufacturing Day: October 1 The new, weekly Small Business Pulse Survey gauges the pandemic's impact on manufacturing and other sectors, including information on supply chain disruption. More Stats National Coffee Day: September 29 U.S. imports of green coffee were valued at $4.4 billion in 2020, down from $6.9 billion in 2011 according to foreign trade stats from the U.S. Census Bureau. Stats Here National Disability Employment Awareness Month: October The 2019 American Community Survey estimated that among noninstitutionalized civilians with a disability, 7.9M are employed and 0.9M are unemployed. Stats Here National Hispanic Heritage Month: Sept. 15-Oct. 15 The 2019 American Community Survey estimated the U.S. population at 328,239,523 which includes 60,481,746 (about 18.4%) who identified as Hispanic or Latino.
