It might be your greatest fear that they'll just decide to fire you outright but I highly doubt most of us actually expect that this would happen. Unfortunately, if you're u/Travelinglogan, it's an entirely real possibility. It's a pretty savage reality that there are actually some managers out there who would stoop to such barbaric levels in order to save face when faced with the prospect of an entirely necessary professional conversation. But maybe we shouldn't be surprised. With some of the things we've seen from 'horrible bosses', almost nothing is out of the question.

The rest of us would be better off for it too. Keep them off social media for starters. Don't get me wrong. Sometimes your brain just isn't firing on all cylinders. Maybe you just didn't get enough sleep the night before or are otherwise recovering from a night out. Maybe you just haven't had your morning brew yet and so fail to recognize that the car you're looking at is actually a reflection in the d@mn window. How about that guy on the ladder? I bet him and his OSHA-bandit brethren would get along just great. Something tells me that the majority of these people should not be given that concession.

Irate Contractor Feels Unreasonably Duped By Freight Price After Declining Estimate OP works in wholesale distribution of building materials and deals regularly with stressed contractors eager to finish their current jobs and cash in. One such stressed contractor recently reached out to him in a midst of a high pressure high pay job requesting an immediate shipment of some obscure building pieces that luckily, OP had in stock. After declining a price estimate, said contractor is shocked when the financial damage of the overnight shipping is revealed to him a week later. Which begs the question, why not take the extra thirty seconds and ask for a price estimate? Beats us, all we know is that this guy could use a chill pill and ASAP as in get it to him yesterday as in we don't care how much it costs to ship. We thoroughly enjoyed reading OP's recount of politely putting this unreasonably irate contractor in his place. 
People's Brilliant Ideas That Were Dumb In Retrospect It's happened to us all. You wake up in the middle of the night with a brilliant idea. "This is going to change the world" you say to yourself, imagining the praise and riches you'll get for your wonderful, brilliant idea. "They'll likely make me president for this one" you think to yourself, spilling genius onto scratch paper. The next morning you look at your magnum opus. "Hamster Bacon" it reads. "Oh," you say, realizing that this was another one of those genius ideas that were dumb upon review. 
Entitled Mom Demands Sis Take Her Kids To Disney Despite Knowing It's A Secret Proposal Trip Let's take a second to revisit one of our favorite subjects to complain about- entitled @ss people that prioritize themselves before all others. Today's case? An entitled mom doesn't approve of her sister, OP's proposal destination because it's too "childish" and demands that she bring her niece and nephew along. Let us just say that we enjoy all things, Disney even as adults. And it ain't just us, Disney literally offers proposal vacation packages for Disney loving adults who want to get engaged at one of the most magical places on Earth. OP is naturally very upset by her sister's blatant disregard for the importance and intimate nature of this upcoming trip. And we are once again shocked by the disgusting levels of entitlement that people so casually flaunt. Sighs, another day another entitled @ss sister. 
Host Sets Super Strict Rules For Sister In Law's Service Dog, SIL Says She's Gone Too Far OP is not a fan of dogs, but her brother and sister in law came down for a visit and along with sister in law, Claire comes her Golden Retriever service doggo. But y'all are trippin if you think OP is letting a big shedding doggo into her house without setting some firm ground rules. Doggo will not be permitted in the kitchen, bathroom, basement, on furniture, and will not be allowed outside without a leash. Seems a little excessive if you ask us. At the end of the day service dogs aren't around just to look cute, they are around to perform a vital service that people truly need for their health. So we can understand why this SIL was a bit taken aback by OP's strict (and numerous) requests! However, it is OP's house and her rules should be respected. This is a tricky one and we can't quite decide of OP is the a-hole. 
Corporate Fails To Laugh At While You Take A Two Hour Lunch Break We appreciate being employed as much as the next average Joe, though our distaste for corporate greed fills us with rage. We find that the more money a company has, the less they care about marketing themselves to the public. And such is abundantly evident in these laugh inducing corporate fails. That's okay though, we're just going to keep our heads down, take a two hour lunch, and mind our own damn business. Keep sticking it to the man, y'all.

If you are anything like us, the answer to that question is 'no.' Absolutely not. We don't exactly remember our childhoods fondly, but hey not everyone has repressed childhood trauma that they are still dealing with every day as an adult. Nervous laughter. When we didn't know how to go about our homework, we got creative- just like the delinquents featured in this series of kids attempting to do their homework.These little devils, uh we mean angels, are not the brightest bulbs in the tanning bed. But who are we to judge? We hope these kids don't grow up to become industrial designers, we see many construction fails in their future. 
Times Real Life Boss Fight Moments Occurred There's no denying the fact that this wild world is packed with its fair share of absolute units and real life bosses. By bosses we mean those folks that seem like they have certain skills just maxed out at 100. Or, a real life boss moment could be when someone escalates an otherwise calm and docile environment into a complete chaotic, adrenaline-charged mess of a moment. Like those two bros that came in brandishing a 2222-card Yugioh deck. Talk about an eternal game with no end in sight.

We will hand it to sis and BIL that they underwent a terrible tragedy. We cannot begin to imagine the pain and suffering of losing a child, let alone three. However, they have been overwhelmingly supported by OP for three whole years. Three whole years of financial and emotional support. That's over 1000 days for those who need extra clarification. Is OP supposed to put her life on hold forever? We think not, and Reddit users overwhelmingly agreed. Even in the midst of tragedy, let's try to respect one another and not be entitled individuals plz.
