Enjoy a free celebration of Texas Independence Day in Historic Downtown Carrollton (1106 S. Broadway Street) on Saturday, March 5 from 3-9 p.m. The event will feature performances by Texas artists Adler & Hearne and Texas High Road as well as Red Dirt Country artist Alex Aguilar, with headliner Big City Outlaws covering some of your favorite country hits to finish out the evening. In addition to great music, TEXFest will offer a variety of food options and craft beer from 14 local breweries. Guests will have a chance to put their cowboy skills to the test by taking a ride on a mechanical bull. Test your Texas knowledge with some local trivia and capture the moment with various photo ops including posing in front of the popular giant Texas flag, new marquee TEXFest letters, or with a live longhorn steer.
