Matching funds still available

The Trevor Project

Hi Friend of Trevor,

After Shear said they wanted to be a girl, their parents forced them to endure conversion therapy between the ages of 5-10. Fourteen and living on the street, Shear said: "I struggled with suicide…I was losing hope."

Pride can be an especially isolating time for young people who don't feel loved for who they are. Trevor's Crisis Services need your help to answer the increase in outreach from LGBTQ youth we expect to receive this month. Please make your life-saving gift now when matching funds from our partners Walgreens and Puma will double your generosity.*

Thanks to compassionate and generous people like you who help ensure that Trevor can be there for young people who are struggling, Shear, who's now 23, says "I'm really grateful…that I'm here today. I have so much to live and experience and feel."

DONATE WITH LOVE

Their journey to self acceptance — their Story of Pride — continues today: "It's been a process for me to meet myself where I'm at and to give myself a lot of grace as I heal," they said. For young people like Shear and with support from people like you, The Trevor Project can continue to be a safe place of community and acceptance. Shear notes how, "The Trevor Project is us. They are allies, friends, you, me. It is like a family."

PLEASE GIVE FROM THE HEART

You can make a transformative difference in the lives of more LGBTQ young people. That's the power of your compassionate action, so please be as generous as you can when every $1 you donate becomes $2.

Thank you in advance for your support.

With love and pride,

Danielle Ehsanipour
