📢 CBS Poll Alert: Hear what towns are saying about housing migrants

Think your town should house Migrants?
What's your town's stance on migrants – revealed

CBS News released the results of a new poll asking Americans some tough questions about their attitudes toward illegal immigrants entering the United States. The poll covered several broad topics including illegal entry, housing recent border crossers, and transporting some migrants to northern cities.

When asked about migrants crossing at the border, 58% of respondents state that the Biden Administration should be tougher. Similarly, 63% of respondents disapprove of President Biden’s handling of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Many concerned Americans have grown increasingly frustrated over President Biden’s refusal to enforce immigration laws, and NPG certainly agrees that the president is failing us in this regard. In addition to ignoring current laws already on the books, his administration is implementing new practices to make it even easier for more to immigrate to the U.S.

TELL CONGRESS TO STOP CATERING TO
THE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS
Fortunately, the U.S. House of Representatives recently passed H.R.2, the Secure the Border Act of 2023. While the passage of this act in the U.S. Senate is a long shot, NPG must encourage all members and activists to support it. Please use the sample language provided to draft an email to your Senator, regardless of party affiliation, asking him or her to vote in favor of H.R.2. Enacting H.R.2 into law would result in a huge decrease in illegal entry. It would also help with interior enforcement as it includes provisions for all employers to use E-Verify, over time.

PASSAGE OF H.R.2 IS VITAL TO OUR EFFORTS
For months you’ve heard about buses of migrants arriving in New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, and even on Martha’s Vineyard. New York Mayor Eric Adams has made the national news many times recently as he finds it difficult to accept and house about 53,000 migrants who have been bused to his city. If New York – America’s largest city, with more housing and amenities than any other U.S. city – struggles to provide for just over 50,000, what is our nation expected to do with more than 7 million? The fact of the matter is this: New York City has received less than 1% of the total number of migrants who have crossed our border since President Biden took office in January 2021.

Why is the media not reporting on the other 99%? Where are they now living? Can YOUR community handle 500 or 1,000?

America is already vastly overpopulated. In order to protect our nation for future generations we must enact policies designed to stop growth, not cause more!

NPG will soon publish a paper outlining our nation’s border crisis, giving specific examples of how and why we find ourselves in this terrible place.

We encourage you to continue to call and write to your elected leaders in the nation’s capital. Tell them it’s time to secure the border once and for all. Tell them to stop catering to special interest groups and to protect the United States for future generations. We have provided sample text to help you get started. Please include specifics as they relate to your hometown.

Please also consider a generous contribution to help NPG spread the word about what is happening to our country. Your support allows us to continue to issue informative emails, publish our scholarly works, place advertisements in various publications, and work with younger people to help them understand that population size and growth will affect their lives forever if we do not enact meaningful change now!
Join forces with NPG and donate today to make a difference by blocking the flow at our southern border!
