As a member of NPG, you and all of our supportive fans already know that our list of publications continues to grow. But have you had a chance to read the newest titles? We wanted to offer you an opportunity to review what NPG has published recently; this year, we have issued two new Forum papers and two new state profiles. In February, NPG published Modern Megadrought: Population, Denial, and Crisis in the American Southwest by Kathleene Parker, and in April, NPG released Adversity for Biodiversity: A Reflection on My Experience at COP15 by Rob Harding. Additionally, NPG has shared state population commentaries on Arizona, Colorado, and Georgia as part of our State Profile Series.

While we know that the population issue is complex and will not be solved overnight, you can support NPG by spreading the word about these publications via social media or even face-to-face conversations. Taking steps such as pressuring our political leaders to act, writing letters to editors, and creating conversations around family planning are also great efforts. So, let’s keep pushing for progress and work together to slow, halt, and eventually reverse population growth.

If you want to renew or join NPG, visit our website for more information on how to contribute today! Lastly, let us know if you feel passionate about something you haven’t seen discussed in our Forum series. And thank you for being a part of our progress toward a sustainable future.
