The white powder was found during a routine search, a source said, and a preliminary field test had shown the substance tested positive for cocaine. The cocaine was found on the ground floor of the White House, near the West Executive entrance where visitors are instructed to typically drop off their cell phones, according to a source familiar with the matter. 🚨 Investigators and the family members of victims are searching for answers as to why someone wearing a ski mask and body armor went on an apparently random shooting spree in Philadelphia on the eve of the Fourth of July, gunning down five people ages 15 to 59. Police identified the suspect as Kimbrady Carriker of Philadelphia, who was arraigned Wednesday morning on multiple counts of murder and attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, carrying a firearm without a license and other charges. 🏔️ Officials are searching for a hiker who went missing over the holiday weekend at California's Yosemite National Park. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been tracking seroprevalence, which are antibodies in the blood, by collecting samples nationwide from blood donors between January and December 2022. The data suggests 77.5% of those aged 16 and older had antibodies from COVID-19 infection by the time 2022 ended, according to the agency's final estimates. Meanwhile, when including people who had antibodies either from infection, by getting vaccinated or from a combination of the two, the CDC estimated that's about 96.7% of the population. 💦 One video of a boy enjoying a waterslide is going viral for showing how blindness has not stopped him from living his life. | |
