And jumping into exercise without activating the glutes can make your workouts less effective — and increase the risk of injury. This 1 simple move can wake up your glutes. Plus, bed rotting is the latest self-care trend. The term means to spend basically the entire day or even weekend in bed, doing everything from napping and doom-scrolling to watching TV and eating. Believe it or not, it can be a safe way to practice self-care if you do it right. Here's how.
