You Have to Experience This at Least Once

It's hard to believe that it's November already. The holidays will be here before you know it.

I love this time of the year...

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve give me plenty of reasons to practice two of my favorite pastimes - cooking and gift giving. Not to mention, the NCAA football playoff and championship games. (Go Buckeyes!)

But with all of that abruptly ending after December 31, the first of the year used to be a major letdown. That is, until I attended my first Investment U Conference in 2016.

Now I have something else to look forward to after the New Year's festivities end.

Investment U is more than just a financial conference. It is The Oxford Club's premier event - with 25 under our belt so far!

Julia Guth, Chair of The Oxford Advisory Council, refers to Investment U as a family reunion of sorts, and I agree with her.

Only I think it's even better...

That's because this conference doesn't have a crazy Uncle Skeeter sitting at the table making wildly inappropriate comments.

Instead, you'll find a room full of like-minded investors. These investors unite under a single purpose - to share their top moneymaking ideas for the coming year with one another.

Indeed, Members who attended the last Investment U Conference had the chance to capture 10 double-digit returns.

Here are just a few of the "greatest hits" from the last conference...

I recommended Evolution Petroleum (NYSE: EPM), which rose 59.75% in a little over four months.

My friend Karim Rahemtulla, Head Fundamental Tactician at Monument Traders Alliance, recommended Rolls-Royce Holdings (OTC: RYCEY), which rose 59.43% in less than six months.

And Chief Investment Strategist Alexander Green recommended Tri Pointe Homes (NYSE: TPH), which rose 34.68% in under four months.

Of course, The Oxford Club's "reunion" isn't held in a rec room, pavilion or church basement. Our Executive Event Director Steven King would never allow that.

It's not held at the airport Ramada either - although Steven has threatened to put me up there if I don't tone down my "dad jokes."

Steven has an enviable job.

Next year, Steven, our host with the most, is taking us to Ojai, California. The 26th Annual Investment U Conference will be held at the beautiful Ojai Valley Inn & Spa from February 26-29, 2024.

Last week, I asked him why he chose this location for the 26th Annual Investment U Conference. This is what he said:

In 2013, I hosted our Private Wealth Seminar at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa and was so incredibly blown away by the gorgeous property and amazing service. All through our stay, various Oxford Club Members would thank me for hosting our meeting there. And the evaluations were sky-high: "Best conference location EVER" and "I'm bringing my family back here very soon."

Then, in 2022, when I, along with my colleague Barbara Sedita, started scouting locations for Investment U 2024, I heard about a fantastic new conference setup in Ojai called The Farmhouse. It is a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor conference center. And as soon as I saw it in person, I knew it would be our Investment U 2024 location (and possibly our new West Coast home). I can't wait to once again share my favorite resort with Oxford Club Members.
